A question regarding Sabbath observance has been raised concerning Japanese social receptions. Some Christians find it difficult to maintain Sabbath observance when attending official Japanese state dinners and receptions. This is a matter that deserves careful consideration from the standpoint of Christian faith and conviction.
The evangelization opportunity in Korea is pressing and urgent. The phrase "Korea in this generation" is frequently used, emphasizing that gospel work in Korea is particularly significant at the present time. Unlike decades past, Koreans have become increasingly receptive to Christian faith.
Unfortunately, some writers are treating Korea as a subject of jest and ridicule. They write superficially and disrespectfully about the true situation of Korea and the Korean people, apparently lacking both understanding of missionary work and knowledge of Korea's future possibilities. Writers and journalists should adopt more serious and respectful attitudes toward Korea.
